Grasslands
Air Park

Runway 16 This is runway 24; it is relatively smooth for about 300 feet. The runway roughens considerably by the elm tree. It then continues downhill for 400 feet. There are tall trees behind camera, the trees would make the runway a one way runway.
Please Note: Grasslands Air Park is only in the planning stages and is not open!
View from the air This is a view of runway 16 from the east. The field is the nearest larger field. There is one island in the field with an elm tree in it. The elm is near the center of the field. The field it self is about eight acres in size. Caution! The field behind is four acres, and has a power line running through it. To the left (South) of the feild you can see the Grasslands Workshop
Grasslands Farm This is Grasslands Farm; it has been in the family since the war. You know the war in which we drove off the Redcoats. We think that it would make a nice Bed and Breakfast. Stop by and stay in the south room. Be sure and say hi to my dad Yorick. He lives there.
One Half Mile of Grass If I remove two stone walls we will have almost one half mile of grass. Once again it will be a one way runway because of the slope, and houses on the south end. The runway is also a bit narrow. I am hopping to be able to land sport aircraft as well as ultralights. Grasslands airpark IS a difficult airpark to land at. Be prepared! We bare no responsibility for your level of skill. |
